Boys Dress Code

Shirt/Top

  • Long or short sleeve collared polo or dress shirt, tucked in and buttoned
  • Coleman athletic shirts or jackets with collars
  • A crew neck or v-neck pullover or cardigan sweater may be worn over the shirt
  • A Coleman issued sweatshirt may be worn over the shirt.
  • Collared Fleeces
  • Not Allowed: Non Coleman hooded sweatshirts, tee shirts, over coats/jackets

Pants

  • Solid or pinstriped tailored, khakis, or corduroys
  • Colored (non-blue) dress jeans with no rips or worn spots (grey, black, olive, etc)
  • Not Allowed: skin-tight pants or baggy pants

Shoes

  • Black or brown oxford or loafer with no visible logo
  • Dress sneakers; solid black or white- no logos (Vans, Toms, Steve Madden, Perry Elvis)
  • Not Allowed: flip-flops, sandals, or beach shoes, sneakers worn for gym

Girls Dress Code

Shirt/Top

  • Long or short sleeve collared polo or, long or short sleeve dress shirt or blouse
  • Crewneck or v-neck pullover or cardigan sweater may be worn over the shirt or blouse
  • Coleman issued athletic shirts or jackets with collars
  • Coleman issued sweatshirt may be worn over the shirt or blouse
  • Business style tops without collars
  • Shirts and blouses should not be so open that cleavage is exposed
  • Collared Fleeces
  • Not Allowed: Tops that expose cleavage, midriff, or bare shoulders, non-Coleman hooded sweatshirts, tee shirts, overcoats/jackets

Pants/Dresses/Skirts

  • Solid or pinstriped tailored, business professional pants, corduroys or Capri style
  • Dresses that cover the shoulders or business professional skirts, both of which are no more than 3” above the knee in length
  • Business professional skirts that are no more than 3” above the knee in length
  • Tights must be covered by a skirt or dress that is not more that 3' above the knee
  • Colored (non-blue) dress jeans with no rips or worn spots (grey, black, olive, etc)
  • Not Allowed:Leggings as pants, skin-tight pants or skirts, blue jeans

Shoes

  • Sturdy dress shoes, sandals with closed or buckled heel, pump or dress boots
  • Dress sneakers; solid black or white - no logos (Vans, Toms, Steve Madden, Perry Ellis
  • Not Allowed::Flip flops, beach shoes, sneakers worn for gym

Coleman Spirit Fridays

Students may wear Coleman issued shirts, sweatshirts, team shirts, or Coleman tee shirts without the regular dress code shirt underneath.  The regular pant or skirt dress code will apply.  No team warm-up pants may be worn.  Tank track shirts must have another shirt underneath.

Relaxed Dress Code- Dress Down Days

Students may wear jeans, sweatpants, sweatshirts, sneakers, and tee shirts in addition to anything in the regular dress code. Clothing may not be ripped, frayed or have holes and may not have inappropriate logos, pictures, or sayings.  Tank tops, low cut necklines, spandex as pants or other skin tight clothing, and bare midriffs and backs are not allowed, standing, or walking.  Hats may not be worn in the building.

With all Dress Code decisions, the Dean and/or Principal will have the final say as to what is appropriate and what is not.  If it is not listed, do not wear it without first checking with the Dean or Principal. 

Parents will be called to bring appropriate attire when students are in violation of the dress code. Students may miss class time until the dress code compliance is met.
